A pair of former Peoria police officers are accused of stealing about $50,000 combined from a union for city law enforcement. 

Prosecutors said both men once held leadership roles in the Peoria Police Officers Association.

A grand jury indicted Mitchell Fuller and Cameron Lebbon on suspicion of fraud and theft between January 2018 and October 2020.

Lebbon was once president of the Peoria Police Officers Association, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Fuller used to be treasurer of the union. They allegedly took a total of $49,700 from group coffers for their own use.

Peoria police said Fuller was fired for an unspecified unrelated incident, and Lebbon retired after spending almost six months on paid leave.

A defense lawyer listed for Fuller and Lebbon did not comment.
