With the Super Bowl over, the NFL now moves into its offseason. And one of the biggest events will be the spring draft, when teams select college players to join their organizations.

The league's combine will give those teams a chance to scout players up close and personal, measuring things like their speed and strength. Until this year, the NFL also used something called the Wonderlic test to determine how well players may follow procedures or work with teammates.

But the daughter of the founder of that test — Kathy Kolbe — is pleased the NFL is going to officially stop administering it, though individual teams will be allowed to continue.

The Show spoke with Kolbe, who lives in the Valley, to learn about the test. Kolbe talked about what her father tried to accomplish with the Wonderlic test.
