How Russian cyberattacks could paralyze other countries as the nation invades Ukraine

Russia’s increased aggressiveness toward Ukraine has led a number of countries — including the U.S. — to impose new and harsher sanctions.
In addition to worries revolving around an expansive war in Europe, there are also more concerns about other actions Russia may take against the rest of the world, primarily in the form of cyberattacks.
Nadya Bliss is executive director of the Global Security Initiative at Arizona State University.
