Former CIA analyst says Putin's actions align with his personality

Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine has helped reestablish Western alliances in ways that few observers would have predicted even a few weeks ago.

NATO has stood stronger than it has in years, and nations including Germany and Sweden have aggressively reacted in surprising ways when it comes to showing support for Ukraine. And the U.S. and allies continue to work behind the scenes to create diplomatic and economic impacts.

Paul Kinsinger is a former CIA analyst. The Show spoke with him to learn about the current circumstances and whether Vladimir Putin’s actions are consistent with what he has known about the Russian president.
