Tempe-based Mint Cannabis marijuana dispensary is now offering free rides to its stores from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and other Valley stops.

Mint Cannabis dispensaries will launch its free service on Wednesday.

One shuttle will transport passengers from Sky Harbor Airport to Mint’s Guadalupe location, while the other will pick up and drop off at Valley resorts, senior living facilities and other locations.

Raul Molina of Mint Cannabis says the brand wants to increase accessibility to its stores.

“The biggest thing we’re looking for is, you know, provide services to maybe some people who can’t get in here and can’t visit the dispensary on their own and get them in here,” Molina said. “And as we do that, educate them a little bit.”

He says the shuttles will pick up and drop off at senior living facilities, as well.

“I think it’s going to educate a lot of them into how to consume,” Molina said. “Even if they decide they don’t want to consume, it’ll basically take some of the taboo off the industry so that they are able to understand a little bit better.”

Molina says residents can also hail shuttle rides from their homes to the dispensaries and back.
