Passenger traffic at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is nearing pre-pandemic levels.

Thanks to spring training and school breaks, March is usually Sky Harbor’s busiest month. The airport reported more than 4 million passengers last March, almost 6% less than March 2019.

So far this year, the airport has welcomed more than 10 million passengers, about 10% less than the same period in 2019.

Sky Harbor tracks air freight by weight. For the first three months, it was 3% lighter than the same time last year while air mail increased more than 30%.
