COVID-19 numbers continue to be near their lowest levels since the beginning of the pandemic more than two years ago. But physicians and researchers are anticipating a likely increase in cases and some degree of further spreading as the summer and fall seasons arrive.

So prioritizing the consistent list of best practices remains in effect — and that includes testing options. The improvement in testing has been dramatic, and scientists are continuing to work to make it better and easier.

One of those scientists is Jennifer Blain Christen, an associate professor at Arizona State University, where she leads the BioElectrical Systems and Technology group.

The Show spoke with her to learn just how much COVID-19 testing has advanced and improved.
