The state House of Representatives passed multiple bills regarding elections measures with bipartisan support.

One bill would require election officials to post how many early ballots are returned and set up an early voting tracking system.

House Minority Leader Democrat Reginold Bolding, who has opposed many election measures, says it can help address future claims of election fraud.

“As we have early ballots that still remain to be tabulated on the night of the election. Many people who are in close races, they want to know how many ballots are remaining," Bolding said.

A measure that would allow people to bring their mail ballot to a polling place and be tabulated on the spot was shot down. Democrats worried technological differences in counties would create various procedures across the state.
