University of Phoenix's latest president resigns after 4 months amid a federal investigation

In February, the University of Phoenix appointed George Burnett as its newest president. Burnett’s time at the top of the for-profit university is already over, as he resigned on June 1.

Reporting by USA Today indicates that major move was taken because of an inquiry by the federal Department of Education into Burnett’s time as head of for-profit Westwood College in Colorado.
