2022 Arizona treasurer's race: The candidates
Here are the candidates for Arizona's treasurer race in the 2022 midterms.
The lone Democrat in the field, Martín Quezada is an experienced attorney, a former state representative and current state senator. On his campaign website, Quezada says he’ll prioritize financial literacy and education, as well as running a transparent office for taxpayers.
Kimberly Yee is running for reelection after first tossing her hat into the crowded gubernatorial field. The former state senator was first elected in 2018 and has campaigned on her experience — she once worked in the Treasurer’s Office before she was elected to run the office. She’s now touting growth in government assets under her stewardship, as well as her support for former President Donald Trump.
