A guide to 2022 Fourth of July events in metro Phoenix and around Arizona
Some Arizona cities won't be celebrating the Fourth of July with fireworks this year due to supply-chain issues, while other shows are still on. Here's a guide to events in Phoenix area and statewide.

Independence Day Celebration
July 2, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Drive-in style fireworks show begins at approximately 8:45 p.m. Festivities include food trucks, music, and vendors.
Gilbert
4th of July Celebration
July 4, 5-9:30 p.m.
3005 E. Queen Creek Road
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Festivities include live performances and vendors.
Goodyear
Star-Spangled 4th
July 4, 6-9:30 p.m.
1933 S. Ballpark Way
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. This event features live music and a welcome speech from the mayor and Goodyear City Council.
Mesa
Titan Solar Power Arizona Celebration of Freedom
July 4, 6-10 p.m.
263 N. Center St.
Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. This year's festivities include live performances, a classic car show, a BMX stunt show and a naturalization ceremony for 75 new U.S. citizens.
Peoria
All-American Festival
July 4, 5-10 p.m.
16101 N. 83rd Ave.
Fireworks begin at 9:10 p.m. The festival features live music, inflatable water slides, a cornhole tournament and a calming sensory room for anyone with sensory processing needs.
Prescott
Independence Day Fireworks
July 4, 3-9:30 p.m.
Watson Lake
Fireworks begin around 9 p.m. The event features waterslides for kids, a VIP section and camping option.
Prescott Valley
Red, White and Boom!
July 4, 3-9 p.m.
8600 E. Nace Lane
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Organizers say this event is the largest fireworks show in northern Arizona. The event features live music, food trucks, a beer garden and a free, inflatable playground for kids.
Scottsdale
9th Annual 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld of Scottsdale
July 4, 5-9 p.m.
16601 N. Pima Road
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Scottsdale says this will be the largest display of fireworks in city history. The event will also offer bull riding, a stunt dog show and live performances.
Surprise
Independence Day Celebration
July 2, 6-9 p.m.
15850 N. Bullard Ave.
Fireworks begin at approximately 8:40 p.m. This event offers a DJ and food trucks.
Tucson
City of Tucson 25th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration
July 4, 9 p.m.
260 S. Church Ave. (access from Cushing Street and Granada Avenue)
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. The show will be launched from "A" Mountain/Sentinel Peak Park with viewing from Tucson Convention Center Parking Lot B, where food trucks will be available starting at 7 p.m.
Yuma
4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
July 2, 6-9 p.m.
1280 W. Desert Hills Drive
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. The event includes live music, a kid-friendly zone and vendors.
Alternative shows
Flagstaff
4th of July Laser Light Show
July 4, after sunset (between 8:30-9 p.m.)
5000 Old Walnut Canyon Road
A fire-safe alternative, this new laser light show is synced to music and can be seen from 500 feet away. A blanket or lawn chair is recommended.
Chandler
Chandler's All-American Bash
July 4, 7-9:30 p.m.
178 E. Commonwealth Ave.
Pyrotechnic show during the concert begins at 8:20 p.m. This event features live music, games and vendors.
Tempe
Red, White and Floom!
July 3, 6-10 p.m.
80 W. Rio Salado Parkway
Festivities include live music, kids' activities and a fire show set to music.
Canceled shows
Phoenix
Phoenix canceled its three top fireworks celebrations (Fabulous Phoenix 4th, Light Up the Sky at American Family Fields and After Dark in the Park). A city official said Phoenix was affected by supply-chain issues, and its contractor could not get fireworks.
