After a week of monsoon activity and humid conditions, a drying trend is expected for the week ahead.

National Weather Service meteorologist Jeremy Mazon says areas of northern Arizona will see some rain, but the Valley should expect little to no rain.

"We are expecting isolated showers across, mainly, the eastern portion of northern Arizona throughout the weekend and into the holiday. But, most areas will see mostly sunny skies in the afternoon," Mazon  said.

Forecasted high temperatures will stay in the low- to mid-100s for the week, before increasing to 110 and higher for the weekend.
