Metro Phoenix residents should expect more 110+ high temperatures this coming week.

National Weather Service meteorologist Sean Benedict says there will be some scattered rains across the state, but mostly in the northern and southeastern regions.

"We’ll just continue to see day-to-day chances for showers and thunderstorms. Still, most of the activity is gonna favor the higher terrain spots," said Benedict.

The Valley will continue to experience humid conditions for the coming week and has a 20% chance of rain between Friday and Sunday next weekend.
