The latest Jan. 6 Committee hearing is taking place July 21 and members plan to focus on former President Donald Trump’s behavior and activities during a three-hour period on the day of the attempted insurrection.

This hearing is expected to be led by Rep. Adam Kinzinger, one of only two Republicans on the panel. The facts presented may provide insight into whether Congress or the Department of Justice will pursue penalties against Trump or his former staffers.

The Show spoke with the former U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic, Norm Eisen of the Brookings Institution, about the committee’s work and what to expect from the hearing.
