Tourism is on the upswing in Arizona.

Debbie Johnson is with the Arizona Office of Tourism. She talked about the state’s recovery efforts on PBS’s "Arizona Horizon." 

"We saw eight of our 15 counties in Arizona have higher tourism last year than in 2019, which is a great thing," she said.

Johnson said leisure travel made a comeback. But two other sectors need to be built back up: international travel and meetings and business travel.
