Most Arizonans have heard of Montezuma Castle — a quick drive up Interstate 17, the century-old cliff dwelling is one of our state’s most famous tourist sites. But there's a little-known oasis just down the road from Montezuma Castle: Montezuma Well.

It isn’t just a well — it’s a place that longtime Arizona travel writer Roger Naylor calls “geologically, historically and biologically remarkable.”

The Show spoke with him to learn more about why and about the better-known wonder that is Montezuma Castle.
