Is year-old eggnog safe to drink? The Show finds out
Christmas is almost here, so it’s time for a little indulgence — public radio style.
Eggnog, that specter of holiday tidings, is made with raw egg yolks, which has long made folks wonder how it’s safe to drink. And The Show's executive producer Amy Silverman had now let it sit for a year.

Tune in to hear the sound of year-old eggnog getting poured into a plastic cup. And as you can hear, it was a little tricky — it’s somewhere around the consistency of pancake batter.
