Reginald Bolding is saying goodbye to the Arizona Capitol this year. He served in the Arizona House for eight years — the last two of which as House minority leader, before running for secretary of state in 2022.
He lost to the eventual winner, Adrian Fontes, in the Democratic primary.
Bolding cites among his accomplishments in the Legislature working to make Juneteenth a state holiday, and creating a manual to help drivers know what to do if they’re stopped by police.
Bolding joined The Show to discuss his time at the Capitol and what’s been going through his mind as he gets ready to leave office.
