Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell is hosting a public forum about the dangers of fentanyl.

According to a release from her office, “the county has experienced a 5,000% rise in the number of fentanyl-related deaths since 2015.”

A nonprofit group will also be on hand for the 6 p.m. Tuesday meeting at McClintock High School to distribute Narcan—a nasal spray used to treat opioid overdoses.
