A new stamp will feature art from an Arizona artist.

The United States Postal Service will debut its latest stamp collection, "Art of the Skateboard Forever Stamps," at a dedication ceremony on Friday in Maryvale ahead of the Phoenix Am Skateboard Contest this weekend.

Artists from various backgrounds contributed to the designs featured on the four stamps. Arizona artist Di’Orr Greenwood created one of the skateboards, showcasing her Navajo heritage with turquoise inlay, eagle feathers and the colors of the rising or setting sun.

The public is invited to attend the event at Desert West Skate Plaza, 6602 W. Encanto Blvd, in Phoenix at 11 a.m. on Friday, where William Zollars, USPS Board of Governors member, will show off the collection.
