The U.S. Secretary of Energy is scheduled to travel to Arizona early this week as part of a Western swing to promote President Joe Biden’s record.

Jennifer Granholm plans to visit a battery recycling company in Gilbert. And the Heard Museum in Phoenix with Hopi, Navajo and San Carlos Apache leaders.

Granholm is expected to make an announcement related to the federal government’s work to set up clean energy technology in tribal communities.
