Monday kicked off the week with a big announcement about the future of the Colorado River — at least, the immediate future. Arizona, Nevada and California struck a deal to draw less water from the strained river for the next three years. It’s a breakthrough deal but only a short-term one and it was made a lot easier by the unusually wet winter we experienced across the Southwest.

But what does it mean for all of us here in Phoenix? Are we looking at forced cutbacks and restrictions on watering your lawn?

For more on that, The Show spoke to Cynthia Campbell, water resources management advisor for the city of Phoenix.
