The Arizona Attorney General’s Office was notified Thursday that agreements have been finalized in opioid settlements with four pharmaceutical companies.

The state is set to receive $380 million.

The agreements are with Teva, Allergan, CVS and Walgreens.

Arizona is set to receive the funds over the next 15 years. About $213 million will be allocated to local governments, while the rest will go to state-level projects.

Beyond the money, Allergan cannot sell opioids for the next decade. Teva must prevent opioid marketing, and the rest will have to monitor and report suspicious activity related to opioid prescriptions.

National lawsuits against the pharmaceutical industry over the opioid crisis have led to more than $50 billion in settlement funds. Arizona’s total share is over $1.1 billion.
