With the Federal Aviation Administration now requiring all drone owners to register their aircraft, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has launched a webpage to help them fly legally.

The website tells pilots to keep drones below 400 feet, and never let them venture beyond their direct line of sight. It also says drones are not permitted near stadiums, public buildings or within a five mile radius of any towered airport without first notifying officials.

“We’re providing these tips so that drone users can know how to fly safely, can know how to fly responsibly and can help comply with the law,” said Heather Lissner, spokesperson for Sky Harbor.

The webpage is permanent and will be updated regularly, Lissner said.
