Recent polls suggest that the race to succeed retiring U.S. Senator Jon Kyl could be very close.
Arizona Republic columnist Bob Robb and Northern Arizona University Political Science Professor Fred Solop discuss what factors could be advantages for either Congressman Jeff Flake or Dr. Richard Carmona. The two disagree about whether Arizona's Latino population will have an impact. Robb says because Republicans have such a strong voter registration advantage, Carmona would have to capture 65 percent of the independent vote to become Arizona's next U.S. Senator.
