Environmental Anthropologist Kenny Broad has focused his career on challenging expeditions to unexplored, underwater caves. He's attempted to make connections to scientific challenges and their impact above ground, including climate change. Broad explains his passion for being underwater and the difference between being a prepared explorer and an adrenaline junkie.Broad was in the Valley as part of the National Geographic Speakers series at the Mesa Arts Center.
