#YesAllWomen Gives A Voice To Everyday Sexism

Following the shooting spree in Isla Vista, Calif., the Twitter hashtag #YesAllWomen has gone viral. It started as a response to the writings and videos of the shooter, Elliot Rodger, who had very publicly stated that he hated women.

Using the hashtag, many women have been tweeting about their day to day experiences of sexism, misogyny and violence. We learned more from Sujey Vega, a professor of Women and Gender Studies at ASU.
