We're all about to drop a lot of dough on dad.

According to a National Retail Federation survey, consumers plan to spend $14.3 billion — the most in the survey’s 13 year history.

Nearly half of those surveyed plan to buy dinner, brunch or other types of experiences like tickets to a concert or sporting event. Their combined sales are expected to top $3 billion.

Clothing, gift cards and electronics are expected to total more than $1.5 billion. Department stores will be the most popular spots for shoppers, followed by online retailers and discount stores.

Consumers are expected to spend an average of $125.92 which is $10 more than last year.
