The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will be appointing a new member Wednesday.

The board is set to name a replacement for long time board member Mary Rose Wilcox. She resigned to run for Congressman Ed Pastor’s seat after he announced his retirement at the end of his term later this year. 

Former Avondale mayor Marie Lopez Rogers is one of four candidates who applied for the supervisor’s job.
