Maricopa Community Colleges are offering half price tuition to seniors

The discount applies to students who are at least 65 years old and Maricopa County residents. The tuition rate is for the 2016-17 fiscal year that starts July 1.

Eligible students will pay $43 per credit hour for courses that still have open seats after a class first meets.

The tuition discount applies at all 10 colleges across the Valley. It does not include registration, course fees and non-credit courses.

To get the discount, seniors must fill out a form that can be found on the Maricopa Community College website or at any college enrollment center. Browse courses offered here.

KJZZ is licensed to the Maricopa County Community College District.
