March 22, 2013

We are pleased to begin sharing the conversations from StoryCorps Phoenix, the project that records the stories from everyday people.

The StoryCorps Mobile Booth is parked at the Phoenix Art Museum and has been very busy. We’ll air a conversation each Monday on KJZZ as part of the Phoenix visit.

Today, we hear a conversation with Barbara Sausen and her longtime best friend Pat Sopper. Barbara grew up in Pine City, Minnesota, and often visited her family’s cabin on a lake with her friends. As teenagers, Barbara and Pat often had to confess their exploits to Barbara’s father, who was a juvenile judge.
