Julie Levin photoJulie Levin joined the KJZZ news team in March 2013 as a digital media assistant.  She will be reporting and producing content, working on all things digital.

Levin comes to the station with experience in radio, television, marketing, photography, print media and web development.

Levin is originally from New Jersey.  She moved to Scottsdale with her family while still in high school and decided to stay in the state to pursue a communication degree at the University of Arizona. While in Tucson, Levin interned for a daily television morning show and reported for the local college station. She also had an opportunity to exercise her love of entertainment news while interning for Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles for a summer.

After graduation, Levin moved back to the Valley to attend graduate school at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.  During her tenure, she reported on the 2012 Presidential Election and produced an investigative story on child welfare in Arizona.  Levin received her master’s degree in journalism in December 2012.

Levin loves to travel.  One of her most memorable trips was to London to cover the 2012 Olympic Games.

In her spare time, she spends quality time with friends and family, reading, trying out new restaurants and watching sports. Go Phillies!
