'Operation Justice' targets those with outstanding felony warrants

April 22, 2013

Law enforcement agencies from across Arizona have been involved in an effort to bring in fugitives with outstanding felony warrants, over the last week. The effort was coordinated by the US Marshals Service, according to spokesman Fred Freeman.

“Basically what we do is, we get together a bunch of our state, local and federal partners and we aggressively target individuals with outstanding felony warrants,” Freeman said.
Freeman says this was the 5th annual effort. Operation Justice is a partnership between federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and Freeman says they arrested 250 criminals and are still looking for many more.
