Check out a collection of photos (and a couple videos) shot from all over Arizona.

There are usually several supermoons each year, but this one was brighter than usual. That's because the moon made its closest approach to Earth since 1948 — and it won't be this close again until 2034.

This was the second of three supermoons in a row. The last one of 2016 is Dec. 14.
