Why Arizona's Election And Campaign Season Seems Longer

Whether we like it or not, most of us have had to get used to members of the U.S. House on the almost-constant treadmill of raising money and running for reelection, thanks to their two year terms and the desire to keep going back to Washington. But now it seems like the same thing is happening in legislative and statewide races. The recent Medicaid expansion battle at the state Capitol is leading to challenges already being issued for some House and Senate seats, even though the next primary is 13 months away.
