A seemingly well-meaning bill about parking for people with disabilities is dividing the community.
The House-passed bill would’ve required parking spots equipped with wide aisles to be for wheelchair-use only and would make it illegal for anyone else to park there — even if they have a tag showing they too have a disability.
I’m joined by Larry Wanger with the Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council to talk more about this.
