Musical Instrument Museum Welcomes New Director

The Musical Instrument Museum in North Phoenix has been open for a little more than three years. Earlier this month, it welcomed a new new President and Director. Carrie Heinonen has returned to the Valley after working at the Art Institute of Chicago. She had previously spent time at the Heard Museum, among other places. Her job will not include reinventing the wheel at the museum.
