As the Arizona senate debates an altered version of Governor Doug Ducey’s original school safety plan, one leader of the state’s March for Our Lives chapter isn’t happy.

Jordan Harb, a group spokesman, lashed out Tuesday morning at politicians who developed the school safety bill, which was amended to eliminate orders of protection allowing authorities to seize somebody’s firearms, except in an emergency. The amendments also reduce the amount of money for additional campus officers.

Harb said, “You will be sorry, Governor, and you will be sorry, Senator Smith, and other representatives here at the Capitol who are ignoring the students and the teachers alike.”

Harb, who has never supported the governor’s plan, also said the legislation should include more counselors.
