Dear Listener,

We are implementing changes to KJZZ’s overnight schedule and HD2 service beginning July 1, 2011.

You can view the new schedule online right now

We will replace
JazzWorks on 91.5 FM and HD1 with a live feed of BBC World Service, weekdays at 1-3 a.m. and weekends 12-6 a.m.  We will also replace JazzWorks on HD2 with XPoNential Radio, a Triple A (adult album alternative) service produced by WXPN and distributed by NPR.  It features a blend of blues, rock, world, folk, and alternative country—commercial free, 24 hours a day.  Daily playlists are available online.

We believe these new programs will satisfy a greater number of KJZZ listeners by providing more news and a more eclectic music mix.

We apologize if these changes pose an inconvenience for you and encourage you to tune into JazzWorks online.

We are tracking listener responses to the changes and we invite you to share your comments.

Sincerely,

Bill Shedd
