Which Arizona Cities Have High-Ranking Neighborhoods?

New infill houses along 15th Avenue south of Northern Avenue in Phoenix are priced at $500,000 to 600,000.

A new list ranks neighborhoods in Peoria, Tucson and Phoenix high for real estate buying and investing. ATTOM Data Solutions released its annual Neighborhood Housing Index.

The real estate data firm ranked 10,950 neighborhoods across the country based on affordability, home price appreciation, school scores, crime rates, unemployment rates and property taxes.

Arizona’s highest ranked neighborhood comes in at number 13. It’s Tierra del Rio near 107th avenue and Happy Valley Road in Peoria.
Tucson has the next highest with Skyline Bel Air Estates at 21. And Phoenix has the 33rd best ranked neighborhood for real estate buying and investing – it’s Royal Palm near 15th avenue and Northern.

The Four Seasons neighborhood in Vail ranks 77th and Eagle Mountain in Fountain Hills ranks 79th.

The top five U.S. neighborhoods based on the index are:

  • Pine Ridge in Naples, Florida metro.
  • Westlake in Mobile, Alabama metro.
  • Union in San Jose, California metro.
  • Westmoreland in Charlotte, North Carolina metro.
  • Hunters Hill in Denver, Colorado metro.
