Arizona Cardinals Face New Orleans Saints In Second Preseason Game
The Arizona Cardinals head in to their second preseason game Friday night in New Orleans against the Saints.
Steve Wilks, the new head coach, says he’s pleased with what he’s seen so far.
“Thought we really came down and accomplished a lot. Most importantly, trying to continue to emphasize the fundamentals and the techniques of the game, trying to create that mindset that’s going to sustain us throughout the year," said Wilks.
All eyes on rookie quarterback Josh Rosen as he’s expected to get some playing time with the starters.
Kickoff is 5 p.m. Arizona time in New Orleans.
After spending training camp in Glendale, the Cardinals resume practices Sunday on the other side of the Valley at their facility in Tempe.
Their regular season begins Sept. 9 at home hosting the Washington Redskins.
