UA Climate Scientist: Arizona Could Be Facing Much Hotter Temperatures If Climate Change Continues

The United Nations’ scientific panel on climate change issued an alarming report on Monday that holds some dire warnings for our planet’s future if we don’t drastically change course.

The report comes from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and one of its authors is right here in Arizona.

Diana Liverman is a professor in the School of Geography and Development at the University of Arizona, and she said we will be feeling these effects here in Arizona sooner than we might think — if we don’t do anything differently soon.
