How Can A Voter Be Undecided In This Election Cycle?

We’ve been inundated with polls on Arizona’s U.S. Senate and statewide races, and some of them were taken a little more than a week before Election Day.

In some cases, at least 10 percent of poll respondents fell into the category of undecided or refused to answer.

With all of the clamor around this week’s election — which has been ongoing for nearly two years in this cycle — who are undecided voters?

How is it possible to be undecided?

To answer those questions, The Show turned to Samara Klar. She is an associate professor at University of Arizona’s School of Government and Public Policy.
