The Sacramento State Hornets were forced to cancel their home football game against the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks this weekend due to smoke in the air.

The City of Sacramento is in direct line of smoke pushing in from wildfires near Chico, Malibu and Ventura, California.

The Environmental Protection Agency has listed the Air Quality at hazardous levels and fire stations are issuing special masks to help protect against fine smoke particles.
