On Friday, former Attorney General Grant Woods announced he wouldn’t be running for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate from Arizona in 2020 — challenging Sen. Martha McSally.

On the heels of that, Tuesday morning, The Show heard from Mark Kelly — husband of Gabrielle Giffords — that he will be taking the Senate plunge, running for office for the first time.

Former legislative leader Chad Campbell of Strategies 360 was with The Show to talk about what he thinks of the move.

Andy Barr, a Democratic consultant who has worked with Congressman Ruben Gallego — who is widely expected to enter the Senate race himself — joined The Show.
