Have U.S. Lawmakers Done Enough To Protect The 2020 Elections From Cyberattacks?

The safety of U.S. elections moved into the spotlight during and following the 2016 campaign season. Because of this, lawmakers have been working on solutions.

Congress recently approved $380 million to provide states with additional funding to improve their systems.

But has enough been done to fend off problems in 2020? Has the issue become too partisan?

To talk about that, J. Alex Halderman, professor of computer science and engineering at the University of Michigan, joined The Show. Part of his focus is on election cybersecurity.
