Myndshft moved from a 4,000-square-foot space in Mesa to a new 11,000-square-foot office on March 20, 2019.

A Mesa company dedicated to improving the healthcare process says business is so good its tripling its workforce this year.

In late 2015, Myndshft launched with two employees. Today, about 30 people work for the technology company with plans to hire 75 to 85 by year’s end. Positions include sales, software engineering and operations.

Using artificial intelligence and a proprietary blockchain platform, founder and CEO Ron Wince said they can simplify healthcare administration.

“So the way to think of it is, we can do something like a prior authorization that takes anywhere from like a half hour to weeks, we can do in less than a minute,” he said. “So that brings a lot of value and people know they’re going to get care and it’s covered by the insurance company and it saves a lot of effort on behalf of the providers and the payers.”

Company representatives joined city leaders last month to unveil Myndshft’s new 11,000-square-foot office in the Red Mountain Business Park. It’s part of the Falcon District, an area Mesa markets as an aerospace, manufacturing and technology hub. 

Wince said they considered locations across the Phoenix area and decided to move operations about a quarter mile and stay in Mesa.

“The [Loop] 202 makes it really easy for employees to get here and we were able to find a really cost-effective place that we could expand into and continue to grow,” he said.

In a prepared statement, Mesa Mayor John Giles said, “Myndshft is a great addition to the Falcon Business District and their exponential growth is bringing high tech jobs to Mesa.”
