Carl Ong says he works for Uber to "break the monotony of his day" as the owner of a travel agency.

As we continue our celebration of the working life, we’re looking at the people who do the jobs that you sometimes don’t see or don’t think about.  We’re thinking about the jobs around the Phoenix area that might not be what you expect.

Instead of calling a taxi or taking the bus, people can now open an app such as Uber or Lyft. Today, we hop in the car with East Valley residents Carl Ong and Blanca Aldana for a day on the job driving for Uber.
