The third phase of the Mesa Eastmark Great Park was dedicated Saturday.

Jo Martin, Mesa Parks and Recreation Advisory Board president, said several new attractions include spaces for people and pets.

“So the new attractions would be two covered shade structures that have a playground for two to five year olds and also a playground for five to twelve year olds as well as a dog park that has three different pens. And of course, four new baseball fields.”

Sand volleyball and basketball courts have been added as well as three additional ramadas.

According to a press release, the park is funded by a special tax on property in the Eastmark Community Facilities District.
