Phoenix continues to break heat records both day and night.

Wednesday was the warmest morning ever, with the low temperature falling to just 97 degrees, surpassing the mark set 20 years ago.

It’s now been 10 straight days that temperatures haven’t fallen below 90 degrees — yet another record.

“Well, there’s probably no good time to be outside," said Austin Jameson, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

“When you aren’t getting that overnight relief, that really makes things more difficult on the bodies ability to recover," he added.

In addition to shattering daily temperature marks, Phoenix has already broken the record for consecutive days at 110 degrees or above, a streak that has lasted since June 30 and shows no signs of abating anytime soon.
